Secondary Form Questions

It's important to collect all the information you need from your guests, but not at the cost of losing their booking because your registration form is arduous and overwhelming. This feature allows you to post-pone asking detailed questions until your guest has made their reservation, by moving said questions to the Guest Edit page.

This means that you can send an email to your guest after they register and request them to fill in a more detailed form.  To do this:

Identify which questions are of secondary importance. You may even want to drag and drop these questions to the bottom of the list (click on the dotted rectangle to the left of the question).

 

Send the secondary form questions link to your guest in an automated email.
If this is something that will apply to all of your programs, you can insert the {{secondary_form_questions_link}} template code into your Registration Notification Email (in Settings > Email Templates). Or you can insert it into a Pre-Arrival Email.

When guests click on the secondary_form_questions_link, they will be linked to a page with the Registration Form questions that they have filled in, and the Secondary Form questions that they still need to complete.
