Multiple Language Support

Allow guests to view the online registration form in the language of their choice.

This special feature is available only with certain software subscription plans. Not sure if your center qualifies? Ask your friendly support guru.

Supported Languages:

• English [en:]
• German [de:]
• Spanish [es:]
• French [efr:]
• Italian [it:]
• Japanese [ja:]
• Korean [ko:]
• Norwegian [no:]
• Polish [pl:]
• Portuguese [pt:]
• Russian [ru:]
• Vietnamese [vi:]
• Chinese [zh:]

You can offer your guests the option of registering in the language of their choice.

Here are some examples.

Many interactions with a guest can be translated, including:

• The registration form
• The registration confirmation email
• Future emails to guest (guest language preference is remembered)

However, some text can appear in English only:

• Admin pages - of Retreat Guru (Reg Settings, Program configuration, reports).
• WordPress and Connect plugins - you must link your website directly to the Retreat Guru multi-language registration page.

Choose the language(s) you wish to offer

Settings > Themes > Languages

Edit the programs you wish to display in multiple languages

• When Retreat Guru enables the multi-language feature you will be provided language shortcodes. You will use these shortcodes to display text in multiple languages. 
• Syntax - [en:] English text, [fr:] French text, [:]
  Include the shortcodes and the text in the configuration fields within Retreat Guru where you want the languages to be displayed. Use the [en:] code to start, followed by the English text you wish to display. Then use the [fr:] or other language code second, followed by the other language text you wish to display. Close your entry with [:]

Here's an example of the codes and text in a Program title.

Configure teachers, questions, and lodging to be multi-lingual.

Following the format described above, update the text for your teachers, questions (that will appear on the registration form), and lodging (that will appear on the registration form).

Here's an example.

Edit emails to be multi-lingual

Settings > Email

And,

Programs > (choose a program to edit) > Email

Again, following the format described above, use the shortcodes (ie. [en:] [fr:] [:] ) to have multiple languages available in emails.

Retreat Guru will remember which language your guest selected when they completed their online registration form and will send emails in that language.

The email template codes like {{first_name}} and {{last_name}} will display in the correct language.
