Integrate your Venue Calendar via ical

You can integrate the venue calendar with any calendar that supports ical (ie. Google Calendar, iCalendar, Outlook, etc.)

What is ical?

iCalendar is a standardized system used by email and calendar programs to share calendar and booking information. According to iCalendar.org, iCalendar is “an open standard for exchanging calendar and scheduling information between users and computers.”

iCalendar should not be confused with Apple iCal, the former name of what is now called Apple Calendar. iCalendar is not an app or service but rather a standard that apps and services can use to share calendars and bookings. Calendar information is stored in a plain text file given an .ics extension. Services often make .ics files accessible via a web URL. 

The instructions for subscribing are different because each calendar program has a different subscription interface.

Within the venue calendar, you can integrate the bookings from each venue via an ical URL.

To find the URL for a specific venue, click on the link to edit the venue. From there, you will see a a field called 'Venue use calendar URL (ical)'. That is the unique calendar URL for that venue.

If you wish to integrate the bookings from every venue, copy/paste the URLs individually and follow the steps to 'add a calendar' within your chosen system (ie. Google Calendar, iCalendar, Outlook, etc.)
