Housekeeping All Rooms Report

Rooms > Housekeeping List (a.k.a. All Rooms view)

The Housekeeping List defaults to show all rooms as of today. Click on Filters and Reports to set another date for the view, and select other filters as desired.

You may also choose Screen Options to customize your view.

In addition to showing departures and arrivals for the selected day, the Housekeeping List includes other key fields:

  • Priority flag - departure and arrival, same room, same day
  • Booked lodgings - the lodging type sold
  • Last and next occupied
  • Stay dates - identifies the day within the stay range
  • Housekeeping notes - special admin-only note field per registration

The priority flag indicates those rooms that likely need to be cleaned first, as one guest is departing from the room, and another guest is arriving in the same room, on the same day.

Booked lodgings indicates how the room was sold. Some centers sell the same room in different ways (lodging types) and offer different room set-ups and amenity packages for each lodging type. 

Last occupied tells the housekeeping team when the room was last sold. Although the room may have a status of clean, if it has not been occupied for over a week, it may require a refresh prior to the next guest's arrival.

Next occupied may help the housekeeping team determine which rooms to clean first. If five rooms have a status of vacant/dirty but only two of them have guests arriving today, the two with arrivals today should likely be cleaned first.

In the image above, Stay dates shows that today (or the date you chose for the view) is the 4th day of the guest's 5-day stay. Many centers schedule interim cleaning and linen changes during a longer-term stay. For example, for a 7-day residential program, your center may perform light cleaning and change the linens on day 4.

Housekeeping notes is a special admin-only question (slug = housekeeping-notes) that allows the registrar to include details on a registration.
